Evening Return

Coming home to Hong Kong after a business trip to Sri Lanka.  After spending the night in the chaotic Colombo airport, arrived in time to capture the sunset view.  Good to be home.

Sheltered from the Typhoon

When I am in Hong Kong, I live aboard a teak wood Chinese motor junk, moored inside Hong Kong Island's Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter.

The Typhoon Shelter is a unique environment, with daily encounters with luxury yachts, excursion and tour boats, working harbour boats, fishermen, sampans, marine police launches, dragon boat racing teams, and the handful of "westerners" who choose to make the Shelter our home. It is surrounded by shipyards, provisioners shops, private marina clubs, high rise condos, the skyline of modern Hong Kong, and the South China Sea.

I'd like to invite you to join me from time to time as I begin to explore my new home....

Polo Tournament

I  covered the Audemars Piguet International Polo 2010 Tournament held at the Singapore Polo Club.
